Dimitrios Menagias,
Chef
Known as Mike the Greek, Boof, and even Mizey Poo-Poo, Dimitrios Menagias has been the Executive Chef of The City Beer Hall since it’s opening in 2011. He doesn’t like food and drink – he obsesses over it like a rabid dog. Hailing from a long line of greek diner operators, D grew up in the kitchen or at the counter working for his family business, surrounded by attorneys, cops, local farmers, recovering alcoholics, bookies and gamblers. By the age of 9 he could make a perfect omelet, handicap a horse race, tell you when to lawyer up and who really didn’t deserve that AA coin. When he was old enough, he left the diner business in search of something else. At 17 yrs old he landed at the famous Beverwyck restaurant where he lied about his age in order to valet park some of the finest vehicles in the Capital District and to hopefully sneak a few peeks into the kitchen. He went off to college but architecture didn’t pan out and soon he found himself working with food again. This time it was a much more passionate drive to taste and create. This yearning to expand his palate still thrives today. His favorite moments are here at The City Beer Hall when we hold our Wild Game Nights. This is when his chest puffs out while taking enormous pride in pairing fine ales with exotic meats. Dimitrios loves to challenge himself, his team and the patrons that call The City Beer Hall home.

Beth Anne Horning,
General Manager
Beth Anne has been a beer nerd for 4 years, a nerd-of-all-trades for 24 years, and a beer slinger/resident geek at City Beer Hall for 2 years. Her love of craft beer culture has grown exponentially during her time at CBH thanks to the numerous beer enthusiasts she is privileged to call her colleagues and patrons. She is also an occasional “brewing assistant/quality control taster” when her boyfriend Dan homebrews, which means she drinks all the beer while he does all the work.
Stephen Caridi,

Born and raised in the small rural area of Catskill, NY, Steve is no stranger to hospitality and guest services. Working at a family hotel business he worked his way up through the positions to get a taste of every level of service. Through this diversity he developed a versatile management style with a level a dependence that comes with experience. Beer is just another passion for this guy.
Myles Rudin,
Head Barback
Myles Rudin grew up in sleepy Circleville, NY. He moved to Albany, NY to attend classes at SUNY Albany. He has worked at The City Beer Hall since October 2011. He often barbacks and occasionally bartends. His notable feats include completing a Tequila Stuntman, and consuming 3 steak dinners along with 3 quarts of beer in one sitting. He’s a sucker for a beer with a good name (Victory Dirtwolf), but he’s loyal to the classics (Lagunitas IPA, Tullamore Dew). He loves cats, tequila, Led Zeppelin, and the NY Mets, especially all together.
