Housed within one of downtown Albany’s most beautiful, unique, and historic buildings, The City Beer Hall has four distinct areas in which we hold events. Our second floor Marble Bar, with its warm, rustic feel and large windows, is our most popular location. Our picturesque outdoor Beer Garden allows guests to enjoy sunny weather and a summer’s breeze with friends. The intimate Pine Room, with beautiful wooden accents located within the second floor, is an ideal space for a small dinner, casual lunch, or professional meeting. Our cozy Main Hall, with its extensive and ever-changing draft list, is the perfect setting for any type of gathering. We can accommodate private groups ranging from 15-200 people. With a focus on locally sourced, globally inspired, seasonal cuisine, we offer a variety of menus to compliment these settings. From buffet appetizers, to passed hors d’oeuvres, to full buffet dinners, you will find several options to suit your event.

JobsCool place. Good food. Great service. Wings were made with homemade buffalo sauce and were perfectly cooked. Bartender made excellent beer recommendation and made sure drinks were topped off as needed. Glad we came!
Love this place! It was so good the first time we came for brunch we had to come back! Boozy coffee drinks and the most amazing Apple Crisp French Toast. Poutine Benedict was also incredible (add fried chicken!) Great atmosphere for a group of people or just a couples weekend.
What a DIVINE brunch experience this past Sunday. Top notch service, quick seating, phenomenal live Jazz music playing (seriously, such a pleasant touch) and a Mimosa party really made my day. The Garbage Bowl was to-die-for. The panacotta for dessert was so fun-never had that in the past. Really quite the amazing experience. I can't wait to go back for date night!
