$40 – 375ml
This wild ale was spontaneously inoculated in our coolship with microflora from our local environment and aged in select oak barrels. This is our respectful interpretation of a traditional spontaneously fermented beer.
2017 Scarenbecca Kriek
Lambic brewed with wild Belgian Schaerbeek sour cherries.
2014 Saint Lamvinus
Blend of lambics aged on average 16 to 18 months and of Merlot grapes.
Lambic can be rightly considered the missing link between the worlds of wine and beer, and Saint Lamvinus takes this one step further by adding grapes normally intended for wine production.
Intense, fruity beer that lingers on the palate and has a clear connection to its winemaking origins.
$70 – 750ml
2013 Scaldis Prestige
Belgian Strong Golden Ale
The Scaldis Prestige is slightly cloudy owing to the re-fermentation in the bottle. When tasting, noticed first are the touches of wood, whisky and sherry. As it is matured in those oak barrels, the Scaldis Prestige absorbs and develops a unique suite of tannins – flavours not normally found in beers.
The aromas very much remind you of whisky and other distillery products that have matured on oak. The overall taste is powerful and rounded, with the fine feel and finish of the source Scaldis Amber – just with that little bit more.
Suarez Family Brewing
2019 Crescent // Saison brewed w/ emmer
A Belgian inspired refresher brewed with lots of raw emmer wheat (50% of the grist) and heavily hopped with old-world hop varieties. We ferment this beer in stainless steel with a single strain of yeast that kicks out tons of complexity (a favorite yeast of ours). Those who dug kinda classic might enjoy this! Bone dry, effervescent, crackling, and heady, with bitterness perfectly balanced by tartness. Notes of mixed berries, sandalwood, white/black pepper, cardamom, fruit taffy, and dried lemon peel. Come try this old-school, single strain sizzler. Very food friendly and very pub-style in an old fashioned Belgian tavern sort of way.
$20 – 500ml
